Cushendall Fieldtrip

We will spend about an hour examining the pebble beds from here towards the Red Arch, examining the evidence for floods and different types of river.

Moving on to the car park at the north end of Cushendall Beach, we will make our way northwards over some more (but very different) pebble beds, looking for evidence of ancient vulcanism, weather, and even life, in these 400-million-year-old rocks.

Please bring a packed lunch and we can arrange a coffee venue after the trip is over.
